B-52 Memorial Park

Get an up close look at a massive airplane at this small park within Orlando International Airport.

B-52 Memorial Park is a small park featuring a huge B-52D Stratofortress bomber. The park’s bomber was built in 1956 and retired 28 years later in 1984. This impressive airplane has a wingspan 185 feet and a length of 160 feet. Visitors to the park are able to walk beneath and all around the B-52, additionally there is an observation platform that provides an overview of the entire aircraft.

B-52 Memorial Park is free to visit and open daily from 7AM until sunset. The park is located within Orlando International Airport, approximately half an hour from Downtown Orlando.
