Free Outdoor Movie in Winter Park

On Thursday the 11th Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure will be shown for free in historic Winter Park.

On Thursday, April 11th you can catch a free screening of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure at Winter Park’s Central Park. This comedy-fantasy movie from 1989 tells the story of Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) who are high school buddies starting a band. However, they are about to fail their history class, which means Ted would be sent to military school. They receive help from Rufus (George Carlin), a traveler from a future where their band is the foundation for a perfect society. With the use of Rufus’ time machine, Bill and Ted travel to various points in history, returning with important figures to help them complete their final history presentation.

The Popcorn Flicks in the Park series features popular and classic films usually on the second Thursday of each month. The films are shown in the middle of historic, downtown Winter Park’s Central Park. These free movies are open to the public and you are encouraged to bring a blanket along with a picnic or snacks. The movie is scheduled to start at 8PM.
