Orlando’s Statue of Liberty

Orlando has its own miniature Statue of Liberty located in the Ivanhoe Village.

Orlando’s miniature Statue of Liberty was added back in 1953, a gift to the city from the Boy Scouts of Central Florida Council. The statue was part of a nationwide program that saw roughly 200 statues built all over the country between 1949 and 1953. With a height of 8 feet 4 inches Orlando’s statue is approximately 143 feet shorter than the original Lady Liberty in New York harbor.

Orlando’s miniature version of the famous statue is a neat sight to see while exploring Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village area. The Orlando Urban Trail bike trail and Lake Ivanhoe and Gaston Edwards Park are also nearby. You can use our Interactive Map to find more things to see and do near Orlando.
