Pine Lily and Long Branch Preserves

Hike and explore thousands of acres of wilderness across several miles of trails in these adjacent nature preserves.

Pine Lily Preserve and Long Branch Preserve protect several different ecosystems including pine flatwoods, freshwater marshes, dome swamps and hydric hammocks. Additionally the Long Branch tributary, a tributary of the Econlockhatchee River, can be spotted in several places while hiking here. Each preserve has more than three miles of trails for hiking. Some of the wildlife spotted here includes gopher tortoises, woodpeckers, turkey, and deer. In the late summer you can see beautiful Pine Lily flowers for whcih one of the preserves is named.

Pine Lily Preserve and Long Branch Preserve are located across the street from one another in Bithlo, Florida (roughly half an hour away from downtown Orlando).
