Rocket Launch Planned for Tomorrow

SpaceX will be performing a significant test for the Crew Dragon capsule, which will one day carry astronauts into space.

At 8AM tomorrow morning a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to blast off from Florida’s Space Coast. This rocket launch is unlike others as it is known the rocket will fail. 88 seconds after lift-off the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket will shutdown and the Crew Dragon capsule will attempt to safely land despite the failed launch. This will be a significant step forwards in sending astronauts into space from Kennedy Space Center for the first time since the Space Shuttle program ended in 2011.
