Falcon Heavy Rocket Launch Tomorrow Night

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is anticipated to blast off tomorrow evening from Kennedy Space Center.

At 11:30PM tomorrow night a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket is scheduled to blast off from Florida’s Space Coast. This will be the third Falcon Heavy rocket launch. For this mission the rocket is carrying a cluster of 24 military and scientific research satellites. The rocket’s fascinating payload includes NASA’s “Deep Space Atomic Clock” – a multi-million dollar time keeping device which will be the most precise clock to ever work in space. Along with keeping time it is hoped to one day assist robots and crewed ships navigate the solar system autonomously, without instructions from Earth. Additionally, the Falcon Heavy rocket will also be sending the cremated remains of 152 people into orbit in small metal capsules. Visit the SpaceX official twitter for the latest updates on the launch.

You can plan to see the launch by having a clear view of the eastern sky (Kennedy Space Center is roughly 45 miles east of Orlando). Or you can make the drive to one of our favorite free viewing locations found below:
